ABOUT Melissa

I’m an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer with experience creating learning solutions across higher education, federal workforce training, and professional learning. My work includes online course development, eLearning, scenario-based learning, multimedia, instructor-led training, performance support, and accessible digital learning.

I began my career in education, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding learner needs, developing measurable learning objectives, designing assessments, and making complex information easier to understand. Since transitioning into instructional design, I’ve worked on projects ranging from federal employee training to college-level online courses and interactive learning experiences.

Accessibility is also a major part of my work. I’m an IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) and have hands-on experience applying WCAG and Section 508 standards to digital learning.

 

When I am not working, I love to explore the great outdoors of Montana through hiking and rock climbing.
